Default 1999 F350 wont start w/o more throttle

Hey guys have a little stumper here. Yesterday truck ran fine. Stopped at Hooters (I was good...actually had dinner with wife LOL) when I started truck it cranked right away fired ...I may have stopped cranking too soon because the engine stopped. Heard a little pop or something like it that I never heard before as engine quit. Engine then would not start. Opened hood moved a few tubes (Red waste gate tube and the intake tube beneath it...a few wires close by...and got the engine started. Very anemic no power at first would not go over 50 closer to home (7 miles) not over 30 mph. Next morning would not start unless I put my foot into it for more fuel. Six months ago I had a minor power problem so I disconnected the EBPV and I had my old truck back, full of power, put 250 miles on it since then, now this. On the drive home had check engine light come on as I attempted to accelerate read attempted (like engine on a governor tuned way too low.) However today I went to look for codes and the reader did not find any. Any ideas on where to begin?

Default solved

Before targeting fuel pump I reconnected the EBPV and attempted to cycle it thinking it was stuck partially open this seemed to help. Engine did start after this op. Frame rail pump sound like it was cavitating suggesting clogged fuel pickup. Pressure was normal. Back pressured the fuel line to clear possible debris. Pump still made same noise. Even though I had pressure of 50-60psi I suspect volume was down. Replaced pump, noise gone, engine runs as it should. PS needed fuel pressure fitting none to be had at the autopart stores. Made temporary fitting using 1/4 flared brass fitting from Lowes (cutoff flare and finish with file, (IT IS THE SAME 7/16 X 20 THREAD) dont forget to put on a O-ring. Solder this to the A/C fitting that fits your fuel pressure gauge. Remember this is a temporary fitting do not use a wrench on the soldered end and dont leave it on the engine.
