1984 F250 6.9, relay wiring
Long time looker, first time posting.
starter relay and glow plug relay
I have a 1984 f250 6.9 in desperate need of, well, a lot.......
This truck means a whole lot to me, but I am sick and tired of being lost under the hood trying to teach myself how to fix it.
As you can see in the pictures, I have some loose ends. I took these pictures the day after it stopped running....a month and a half ago!
The wires were unplugged because the truck had slow starts, then no starts without the aid of a jump start, and then loss of lights while driving.
It belonged to my brother-in-law before he passed away. We were able to work on it together a few times, but the little I have learned as come from Chilton, Haynes, and of course online forums.
It has a push-button style manual glow plug bypass. (blue wires)
The books diagrams have been of very little help since some of the wires have been cut and had a different color wire taped to it.
I just want to know which wire goes where, solder it, and slam the hood. Please have mercy.
