6.5 turbo
I have a 1998 silverado 3500 with a 6.5 turbo. I run a wvo kit in it and have had to replace a few ip's. I believe that I may have other issues with the truck. It coughs black smoke and hitches/loses power under load. I ran a scan for codes and came up with these...
p0113
p0216
p0238
p1214
p1218
After reading some similar posts in the forum, I decided to check the vaccum to my actuater- there is none!
I cleared the codes and did a key on,key off reset of the injection pump timing, and took it for a run. It runs a bit better, but still came up with the code p1218. These last two codes are not in my code book.
plz help
these issues are running on diesel- it wont run on veg

the p1218 you refer to is injection pump calibration circuit..might want to do a google search and see if there is any more info....scott
