I have a 98 1/2 2500 24 v cummings .The indicator cable is broke. Does the other end go right to the transmission ? Is it a big job snaking it into the cab? It is driving me crazy not having the indicator. I can not find directions to replace it on alldata it just shows the gauge cluster end. I found it . It isa small cable from the gauge cluster to the selector arm lever
does not have anything to do with transmission.I will have to remove cluster . Does the trim just snap off ?
