Default 96 PSD RUNS ROUGH. NEED HELP!

I have a 1996 F250 7.3l powerstroke with 148k. I moved to San Diego a week ago from WA state. Things i've replaced in the past; fuel filter, a/c compressor, water pump, k&N intake, belt, vacuum pump, thermostat.

9/22 Took the rig fully loaded out for a test run, and it started choking at a stop sign 2 miles from my old house. I shut it down, started it back up, gave it some juice and it ran fine. Oil lvl was full. Both my tanks were about at empty and it had sat like that for about a week () so i figured it was condensation in the tanks.

9/23 I filled it up before i left town and added some diesel 911 and it ran fine.

9/24 Broke down in Yreka, water pump failure. Bled everywhere. Towed to Redding.

9/25 Water pump and thermostat replaced, runs great.

9/26 Arrive in San Diego. Runs great.

10/3 Been running back and forth for about a week in 70-80 degree weather and congested traffic picking up furnishings for my new house. This evening on the way to Point Loma in all the sudden ran REALLY ROUGH. Like it was being choked. RPMs dropped to about 1.2 at times, and it loped like a cammer. I limped it to a gas station and popped the hood. Oil full, no fluids gushing, fuel full in both tanks, gauges good, no warning lights. I limped it home and replaced the fuel filter.

10/4 Drove it this morning to the Navy base, ran great until it warmed up. Same thing as yesterday.

Need help. I'll be paying close attention to this thread. Fire away!

When it happens, does your CEL come on? Is the truck an auto? is it doing it only in certain situations? What exactly is it doing? More relevant info might help... You say RPMs dropped to 1.2... What does that even mean?

"no warning lights" so no, no CEL. Auto trans. It has been doing it when it warms up and the temp gauge reaches about 1/3. My Revolutions per minute....were... about 1200 while in flight while it was "choking" for lack of a better term. I'd be giving it an adequate amt of gas but it would hover around 1k and run really rough.

Its running really rough in the lower RPMs while at idle and in flight.

I dropped the truck off at Perry Ford today. We'll see what happens.
