Here is the situation, I went to start my truck to take it over to a buddies to hook up the FP gauge again, (needed a new fitting after the Air Dog install) and it won't start. It started to fire then I stopped cranking and it shut off. Now it only cranks but will not fire. I tried to hook up my smarty for codes but it will not connect, not sure why but it keeps telling me to turn the key off, then on, then says connecting, then back to the key thing. The Air Dog is not pumping anymore, normally you could hear it when you first kicked the key but now it just sits there. The key trick has never worked for me, not sure why but I have never gotten it to work. There are no fuses blown, nothing unhooked, everything looks good. Anyone got any ideas?

In the last month or two I have added the Air Dog, SB DD 3600# clutch, and Smarty. Truck has just over 31k on the clock now and it ran fine yesterday, no signs of anything on the way home last night.

Any ideas?

 

if the airdog aint runnin then yer not getitn no fuel...........sounds like a wiring issue with the airdod so start searchin there

 

Remeber though once you have primed the system until you loose prime again it will not kick on. With the smarty not being able to read the ECM I'm thinking you have blown a master fuse to the ECM or your ECM died.

 

Got it to start, there was a bad ground on the drivers side battery.
