Bump is just a way to get the thread back to the top in case somebody has something to add but missed it by being burries in the pile. Same thing as TTT or ...

o.k. guys heres the scoop. after all that bs i pulled the valve body only to find my 1/2 band had snaped in two,put new one in today and truck shifts fine now. still pulling codes p1693/p1698 and still dont understand what they pertain to.

This may or may not relate, but I had a similar problem with a C4 tranny & it was a simple vacuum line leak.
