Hey all, great site. Picked up a new daily driver a week ago. First cummins, not first diesel. Loving it to death. I got a great deal on it and it's been really well maintained. Has some rust starting on the door bottoms but everything else is solid. Going to get the doors fixed and drive it! 162k on it and fleet maintained since new.

Just took it on the first long road trip. Went 435 miles on a half tank. Filled up and got a hand calculated 21mpg with an hour spent going 5 mph in traffic and a half hour sitting in the parking lot idling with the AC on while the kids slept and the wife ran into the store. Can't complain about that!

I really went back and forth on the 2x4 thing, especially being in WI, but the more I look at the 4x4's, the more I see horror stories of front end maintenance. This has the no spin rear end so I figure I'll throw some weight in and drive smart. I typically would leave my past 4x4's in 2wd 90% of the time anyway. I was fully expecting to not like the truck around the motor, but for all the trash talking people do on dodges, this seems like an incredibly tight truck. Interior is comfy and has no squeaks or rattles. Tighter than the Tacoma that I replaced with it.

Welcome! Nice to see another member from WI. The ride looks good, and the way the winters are looking I wouldnt worry about the 4WD
