Default 1997dodge diesel
Just joined up. I like reading the conversations with the problems. I have a problem. I have to step on the throttle to start it just a bit even if its warm. Is this normal

I just got a 12 valve after the first of the year. My truck is the same way.

I'm woundering if there was something that you could use to clean the injectors or if it would even help. Maybe someone will chime in for you that has been through this.

most of these problems is idle being slow or gov springs not adjusted right.. my 97 puller is like yours too but it dont bother me much.

Adjust your cold idle I bet its low. How many miles? Injector pumps with a lot of miles generally have this problem too.
