Default Diesel newbie

Long time, envious fan of the diesel community. Recently became a new addition to it by purchasing a 6.5 Turbo Diesel 4x4 Suburban. I bought a truck in need of some love and I'm sure I'll be posting asking questions on how to make it run better and safer for my family. Thank you everyone

Going pretty good, it's a Peterbilt 379 with a 3406b and a 15 speed. The shop where I work uses it to move FedEx trailers they send us for repair.

Mine's gonna need some repairs like those FedEx trucks leaking oil and getting some turbo lag. I saw the CDR valve had been removed entirely, assumed it was causing the leak the seller was talking about, installed a CDR valve...and still have a puddle of oil... 230k miles on it, started pricing motors, rebuilds, and re-rings. I know enough to be dangerous, but not that dangerous.
