Hello to fellow diesel fans, I'm interested in most anything old school diesel (mechanical injection pump). I grew up on a Farmall M, and currently own two MD's. I've also had a couple of diesel VW's. As a father/son project, we transplanted a 1.6 NA VW diesel into a Suzuki Samurai. Unfortunately, it turned out to be somewhat under powered (all part of the learning process I guess). It was a lot of fun anyway. My current projects; 1968 Scout, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear, 4.88's and Detroit Lockers in both ends, 203/205 double transfer case, NP 435 trans, 4bt Cummins (the engine isn't installed yet, finally got all the needed parts). 1964 IH pickup with an Isuzu diesel. My current camper hauler is a 1998.5 24V Cummins Quad cab. Always interested in what other folks have or are building in the way of diesel or four wheel drive. Dan
