Default Hello All!! New Guy here

hey to all you diesel fans
ive loved diesels all my life but im pretty new to owning one we have always a 7.3 powerstroke dually for our family farm i have just purchased a 2004 gmc 2500 duramax lly and i have a question on it
it has a small lope nothing major you really cant tell it in the rpms but it is a small sorta fast lope maybe at a 1 sec interval between each one. but it only does it in drive while its under a load i guess is the only time it triggers it, never in park though. there have been very few times you could see the rpms jump and they were very little mabe 50-75rpms i was thinking possibly the fpr is going out that seems to be a common problem with these llys
this truck is bone stock 60,000 miles any help?
