howdy im adam and i work on big truks at tread corp. in roanoke va. basically all i do is install pto's,wire the truks up and put mounts on the frame to accomodate the powder bodys we custom make. 0i used to work in wv as a strip mine heavy equip. mech. i dont know it all and i never will but i love troubleshooting problems and fixing things. i have ever since i was a kid back in wv. my 2001dodge 2500 ext. cab slt laramie 4x4 is my current truk. iv had 3 dodge diesels n the past 11yrs. i had a 2500 reg. cab 4x4 that i put 246000 k on in 9 yrs. i also had a 2001 3500 ext cab 4x4. any way im gettn into the performance realm a little. ive installed an airdog100, an aem brute force intake, arp hea d studs., had the head fire ringed,put some cheapy glowshift fuel press., egt, and boos.t gauges on that r surprisingly pretty accurate. i got an edge comp box and a smarty tuner. i aldo took a piece of stainless allthread and welded a washer to it to keep my wastegate closed. it will make 32psi of boost with just the comp and 36 with the smarty on level 8 with comp on 5x3. the truk has 148000k and is a long bed with 4.10 gears. i put it on a dynocom dyno bout a month ago and according to it the truk only made 232hp/410 lbft of torque,but it sure feels like itd makn more than that. anyway im glad to be a member and i have used ur site in the past on some problems ive had.
