New Powerstroke Owner in Houston Texas
Hi all,
I just purchased a 1997 F250 Powerstroke 4x4. I originally bought it to do an engine swap into my 1994 Bronco, but am seriously thinking about just fixing it back up and running it as-is. It needs a new flywheel and clutch. However, I got lucky and bought it for $900. Any good advice on how to make this truck run reliably (sp?) are appreciated. I dont care about speed or "tricking" the truck out. Im about reliability and power. This truck will be used as a work truck, tow rig, and daily driver.
I hope I can learn alot from this forum.

Just as an update. I got the clutch in the truck, transmission installed, new batteries, ignition switch, slave clutch cylinder, carrier bearing, u-joint and a couple months of cussing and impatience, I got the truck running this weekend. Runs great, and Im happy with it..
