I don't know if you have any UK members on here but thought I'd sign up as it seems the USA is where the big power diesels are!

I drive a 1997 Rover 200 SDi, it's nothing special just an ordinary little hatchback (Honda Civic size), with a 2 liter Rover L series (Bosch VP37 pump, 8v, GT15 turbo), which is about 104bhp/155ftlb in standard form, so not a lot by your standards.
I've only fitted a tuning box and a decat, and blanked the EGR, power should now be around 125-130bhp/200ftlb. It punches well above it's weight for a little car, and was very cheap to buy.
I plan to do a bit more to it, but for now it's a great little car, good mpg and performance when you want it.

The only pics I have are the ones from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=320670592727
Not sure if the link works though.

Howdy! Welcome to Diesel Bombers! I am pretty sure we've had a couple members from the UK over the couple years, don't know if they're still on though.

Glad you decided to join, hope you enjoy the site!

[The photo link didn't work, btw.]

Hmm I'll have to give the car a wash and take some pictures then, not much chance of any good weather this time of the year over here though .

Welcome to Db!
Hm, try to make a picture! I guess I can tell you about about that engine - should be an VM motori engine. If so I can tell you a bunch of tips, improvements and hints...
