I felt compelled to register to bombers after a couple of years of reading and learning from fellow bombers posts. I have been trying to figure out a no start without ether for 2 years. The truck runs good, once firing off on ether. I pull a 45 foot double deck gooseneck livestock trailer with gvw arournd 32000 pounds. I get about 14.5 mpg pulling and around 25 mpg unhooked. I have an Edge Juice, otherwise truck is stock with 205000 miles, only replacing brakes and u-joints, but no start for 2 years!!!!Well today I decided to replace my serpintine belt, so with my wifes help (and plugs in my ears) we got the task completed in less than a half hour. I checked to make sure the alignment was right and went to turn the engine over. I about crapped myself when it fired right up, I was in shock!!! I shut it off and went back an hour later and it fired right up!!!! and again and again...I may get up around midnight just to start er up.....So to sum it up...get some earplugs and let your wife help you with the next fix!!
