Just joined today to get help with an air leak problem.

Bought my 1992 D-250 in 1994 with 45K miles on it. He's got about 300K now. Not really certain of the miles due to the sending unit going out a number of times.
It has the full Banks Power Pack and a Kelderman rear air suspension with on dash air control as well as air bags up front. The front set up was sort of a bust. In order to get the cushy ride you had to remove all but one or two of the leaf springs. This did make for a really nice ride but with no panhard or anti sway bar up front the axle wandered all over the place and tires went away fast. In 4 wheel drive when pulling in mud or snow the springs would wrap up so bad I was afraid they would bust. So I put all the spring leafs back in. Never got around to making some sort of traction bar or panhard bar set up so the air bags while still functional just sit there.
The paint has mostly fallen off. At just under 100K miles I tried to get Chrysler to make good on their so called bumper to bumper warrenty and fix the failing paint job. They flat refused so I told them I was going to keep this truck for a very long time and likely never fix the paint AND that I would take every opportunity to let anyone who asked why I didn't paint it know how I was treated. It's a great product made by a company who does'nt stand by their warranties.
Still it's been a great truck and with over 260k miles on it pulled an overloaded 16' trailer up the Alaska highway without one single glitch - not counting a wiper blade that fell off!
It's still our only vehicle!
