Default new guy here

I guess i will start off by telling ya my name.

Tony

I live in Indiana and i am employed by the department of corrections
i have a wife (Kenna) and 2 wonderful boys (Tyler and Alex)

my hobbies are Hunting (anything) Fishing (for anything thats bitting)
and Offroading (88 suzuki samurai)

and as of a couple months ago
working on my truck<-------didnt think that was going to be a hobby
but it has!!!!

I got the truck cause i needed a crawler haller and the wifes SUV just wasn't
what i was wanting to try and pull my sammy all over the country with.

so i got a diesel truck.....i knew it would have plenty of power and would last a long time if i took good care of it but........i didnt think about what kind of care it was given before i got it........so now i get to do all the work to fix it to work properly. Its a 2001 Dodge QCSB 4x4 with the wonderful A/T tranny and the 24v and as far as i can tell its totally stock with the exception of a 2" leveling kit and 35's on stock wheels

i have already had to put on (have put on for me) a lift pump (DDRP fass) and the coveted VP44 injection pump and of coarse fuel filter....

So anyway thats me ...i dont post very much on forums although i have my own and moderate on another but i am ready to start learning a little about diesel trucks and finding out information on how to make my truck run like i want it to

Welcome to Diesel Bombers! Sorry to hear about your fuel system costs, but at least you have a better lift pump now.
