With so many different brands and prices for the EGR Delete kits, which one is for my engine. I have the '04 6.0 4x4 crew cab long bed. I use it for my everyday vehicle but bought it mainly for deer hunting in west Texas. I do not need a hot rod and use it off road only in the normal hunting sense not competition hill climbing events. Stopped at fuel stop in LLano Tx and when I tried to start the engine I had a rude awakening as water had entered a cylinder. Afetr the towing to Houston I had engine broke down thinking is was the head bolts only to find it was the EGR cooler. Having engine rebuilt now and want to add the best EGR delete kit I need but with prices ranging from $300.00 to $900.00 I am looking for direction on what deletekit I need.
