Default Diesel4x4

I currently own a 94 GMC 6.5L diesel 2500. It has about 178,000 miles and is new to me. I bought it about 3 months ago for $1500. I has new glow plugs, vacuum pump, rebuilt and upgraded IP, and a HO water pump that I installed. All the other mods were done by the PO.
Before the truck I had a 1978 mercedes 300D and a 1980 240D. Both were great cars and I drove the 240D everywhere.

Wow Thats good stuff! We need Pics! Plenty of info on the 6.5l that you have. if you want to do more let me know I have a connection with a 6.5l guy that is supporting my colleges diesel project. To bad you got rid of the Mercedes! Those were down right tough vehicles! I have had my hands on a collection of them! Great power-plants!

I actually still have the 300D. The engine was tired at around 400,000 so I did a rebuild on it. Now I just need to come up with the money to get the IP rebuilt as well. They are very good power plants. Some day I want to put it in a small pick up or something like that.

Oh? Excellent! If you need parts let me know? I'm not a vender, but I do have access to most of the Mercedes diesel stuff. Form interior to exterior, and power-plants: i.e. Heads, turbos, transmissions, etc. You came to the right place. Someone on here has something!

I will. I'm currently in school trying to get a degree in mechanical engineering so needless to say my funds are very low at the moment. I am looking forward to the day when I have a little money to do projects. I have always wanted to turbo that 300D!

Let me go ask somebody. Might be able to just get that to you for shipping costs.

That would be incredible about the parts for shipping. If not, that's alright too. Thanks for the info and hope.
