has anyone ever installed a rotary diesel in a car or truck? Is the rotary diesel reliable?

I own rotary engine (Mazda RX-7s) vehicles... I don't think the compression ratio is high enough to run on Diesel, nor would the factory apex seals stand up to the force of compression ignition.

I do know Curtis Wright built a two-stage Diesel rotary engine back in the 70's but I think it was just a prototype. Where would you even get a production Diesel rotary engine?
