Another new guy

Well first of all I would just like to thank the guys who run this site. There is a lot of good information and ideas that happen on boards like this, so thank you. here's a little about me now. First of all I'm a husband to a wonderful woman. We have two great kids our boy is 3 and our daughter is 1. We have a cat and a dog and live in the great little town of Warren, In. I'm a Youth Minister at one of the church's here in town and love my job. I have been the owner of many trucks since I started driving and am currently on my 3rd 1st gen. This truck is a 91.5 Dodge 3/4 cummins. It's a 2 wheel drive auto.This one is a fixer-upper for sure. It had sat in a friends yard for 3 1/2 years until I bought it in Aug of 2010. It started right up once I got the fuel line fixed (rusted out), but that's only where the fun started. Since then I have replaced bearings, rotors, and pads in the front end. Cleaned out the interior from the mice.....arghh, luckily they didn't eat anything up. Things still needing done are rear wheel seals, new rear brake lines, new wheel cylinder on left side, maybe new brakes if $$ allows, serpentine belt, brake booster, shocks, trans cooler, and some brake light problems. It's all easy enough for me to do, I love working on the old trucks, it's just money doesn't always allow it. Now for the pros. The truck has been turned up substantially. The injectors I'm told are worth more than the $2000 I paid for the truck. But no one knows the specs on them. The pump has been turned as much as it can go. And boy does this truck haul!

I'm anxious to be able to drive it daily, but with the brake issues that just ins't happening right now, maybe next summer? Anyway, I look forward to learning more and watching you guys build your trucks up. If I can't do it to my own, at least I'll watch everyone else's trucks and dream!
