my diesel bomber intro from the new guy !!!!!!!
i am a new owner of a gun metal gray 2004 chevy 2500 4x4 silverado with a duramax,Edge juice programmer with attitude, ATS transmission , 6 inch fabtech suspension lift with 37 inch Coopers. It was a project though. I bought it with a grenaded rear end, and a small tranny leak. 14 bolt full floating. got a used one from the junk yard . The small tranny leak turned out to be a cracked tranny housing on the rear of the allison, due to the shockwave coming through the driveline is what im guessing what happened since the tranny mount bolts were totally stripped out. And when i say grenaded , you could stick your fist through the bottom of the housing. I bought a new housing from the dealer and fixed that also. Any ways, i live in Henderson nevada and plan on using my new truck for towing my 27 foot toy hauler to the dunes and camping trips with my family.
