1986 Silverado/6.2 no turbo
I am wondering if my transmission will last any length of time as I haul wood. i think it is running good as it does what I want it to do,except that it will move slower at highway speeds, when pulling hills. It is the 700r4 3 speed with overdrive. the fluids are red and clear and no burnt smell at all. It shifts smoothly and does not bog down any until I start up hills. My question is---Will it last?
Also,I wonder about putting a turbo on the engine for more power. The truck has 121,000 miles on it at present.
Thank You for any and all answers!!!!
