Talking My 12 Valve.

I just bought me a 1995 4x4 12 Valve with a 152,000 miles on it. Has an auto that I am looking to swap out for a NV5600. The motor has no real mods as of yet, but soon will.
I have been reading through a lot of info here and have found a ton of great stuff.
Any help that can be provided on helping me with my trany swap please feel free to post it here or PM me.

Thanks and have a good one!

Welcome to Diesel Bombers and congatulations on your new truck! As far as your tranny swap, you might try posting in the 2nd gen section: 12 Valve 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins 94-98 - Diesel Bombers

Default nv5600 swap

Hi I have a 97 2500 and I had auto and swaped to a nv5600. It was pretty easy. The firewall is made for the clutch master and the pedle bracket is the same just need the pedles. For the adapter it is the same bellhousing just depends what flywheel you wana use. I used the 03 flywheel and needed a spacer for starter cause ring gear is moved forward. You can buy a wide crossmember but i just added a plate to back of mine and braced it up. T case is differnt case of input spline size. Drive shafts also differnt. I went on car-part.com and found used driveshafts out of a 2002 and fit my truck fine. You will most likly need a 241 hd case. If you go on e bay there is a guy down south i may have his number. He had alot of these parts for a decent price. I love the trans but ratio is a bit higher than auto.Any ? let me know
