So, high school, college, and now a real job. Should be in the market for a second generation cummins in about a year or so if I can rat-hole away enough $$.

Chosing a second generation primarily because I like the body style of the '98.5 to '02 dodge ram more than the current, common rail models and because the 24 valve CTDs were just obnoxiously loud!

 

And the 2nd Gen Body Style starts in 1994 and i personlaly think you would be better off with a 1996 1997 1998 12V truck , Cheaper to Bomb , Less Electronics ect..... And get a Manual Transmission ,

Note only the 1998 12V has the 24V style Interior ,

Save Some Money and get a Better Truck IMO
