So, high school, college, and now a real job. Should be in the market for a second generation cummins in about a year or so if I can rat-hole away enough $$.

Chosing a second generation primarily because I like the body style of the '98.5 to '02 dodge ram more than the current, common rail models and because the 24 valve CTDs were just obnoxiously loud!

:hi: And the 2nd Gen Body Style starts in 1994 and i personlaly think you would be better off with a 1996 1997 1998 12V truck , Cheaper to Bomb , Less Electronics ect..... And get a Manual Transmission ,

Note only the 1998 12V has the 24V style Interior ,

Save Some Money and get a Better Truck IMO
