Yeah thanks I'm a sophomore mechanical engineer at gonzaga right now. Great school, but the math stuff I have to go through for engineering is like... That's higher priority than the ranger project though.

Thanks all you guys. Nice to hear some interest. I'm so sick of other people telling me diesels are stupid and that it's never gonna work and that I'm dreaming. I'm gonna show them my dream soon ! I appreciate it.
I just got sick of bad gas mileage and gassers in general, ready to try something new. Looked at buying a diesel truck but it's a little cheaper to make my own and it's oh so much cooler.
So all the parts for my engine are pretty much safe and dry in my bedroom and ready to assemble, (don't tell my mom!) I just need time now to tear into it.
I work in at the machine shop at school, so I have access to all the CNC and fab stuff I could ever hope for. It's helped a ton so far, cuz i've been able to make many of my own parts rather than buying them. Plus I work at a shop in Post Falls fixing stupid gassers, so, more tools and help, yaknow?
And I'll get some pictures up soon and start a thread in conversions section for all those who don't believe til they see.
Chris
