Hey everyone,

I am an owner of a 1993 Dodge D250. I have had this idea in my head for the last couple years to make that a W250. I have a donor truck, but it is my dad's, so parts from that will be limited. We have a full machine shop, so fabricating some of the crossmembers and drilling into the frame should not be much of an issue. However, I have had a very hard time finding some sort of breakdown as to the order things should be done, parts list, etc. I don't need exact dimensions for holes and what not, just a handy checklist. Any help would be much appreciated, and I would report my experience to those who are looking for the same thing!

Thanks,

Ryan

The easiest thing to do would be strip the W250 to the frame/suspension, check them over carefully for any defects that would be easier to repair without body/motor in the way, then transfer everything from the D250 over to it.
I assume the D is a diesel and the W is not? Are the years similar?
There is no parts list, or checklist that I'm aware of for swaps like this. You should really have a fair amount of mechanical ability before even attempting something like it.
