Default F250 Owner x 3

85 F250 6.9 IDI single cab manual 2x4 (2 weeks)
92 F250 7.3 IDI extended cab custom manual 2x4 (14 years)
94 F250 7.3 Powerstroke extended cab XLT manual 2x4 (4 years)

Looking to do a bit more work on our trucks myself (instead of paying $100+/hr to mechanics), and see that there's lots of good advice on this site.

Welcome to the forum, thanks a lot for joining! Great stable you have there, make sure to post up some pics for us when you have a chance!

What are your plans for your F-250s?

The 92 is the daily run-to-town vehicle (we live in a rural area) - it has 400K km, mechanically sound but the body is getting rough.

The 94 is only insured in the summer so it doesn't see any salt - it has 140K km, has no rust, just a few scratches and small dings.

The 83 is newly purchased and is mine (because my family often has the other ones out and I'm stuck at home) - has 250K km, body is good for the year, but needs a bit of engine work (blue smoke on start and when changing gears) that I am hoping to tackle, even though I've never done any work on a diesel engine before.

That's some project you got there, share some pics. I remember my uncle's 1992 f250 6.9 with more than 300k miles on it and the engine still going strong.
