Default Hello,Third time new member

Hi

I am Dianne and still haven't mastered the new intro part. I have actually been in and out of here for several years, but as a widow with a 17 year old in a wheelchair must confess that I have been using the site more when I am trying to stay on the road !!! I am getting ready to let my old 7.3 E 350 1995 go ....sniff. .....The engine runs like a jet but the body is getting old old old...and parts well you know. I had a large business in past with much equipment operating as a disaster recovery contractor for FEMA and Army Corps . I am a licensed Landscape Architect but with the death of my Marine husband three weeks before birth of my son 17 years ago all that is in the past for good. Just trying to be good mom and help son become independent. I also have a lovely 26 y o daughter who has lung disease but stays here and assists with son. Sounds kind of grim as an introduction, but I like to think I am truly blessed that God has faith in me to be a good mom to my children. I soooo do not want to let him down and do all I can to be the kind of mother, caregiver, teacher and advocate they need. On the flip side, he has always stood beside me pointing me the right way ...which includes leading me to this site on many occasions when I needed sound advice and a way to understand how to understand the transportation issues .

I am suddenly blessed with the opportunity to purchase a NEW E350 diesel.....again from Shriners. It is a 6.0 and I must say I hate it. But even the Ford Dealer says the old van has to go.!!! But the engine is like a jet runs so good and powerful compared to this sleek new vehicle with ac and Heat!..... but a funny turbo noise and low power. I am stuck here though needing a lift vehicle this is it !.

I am also now the main camera operator and my daughter is the director and cam operator for our large church here in Virginia Beach. I shoot all the webcasts and TV programs for our church as a volunteer. That brings with it many opportunities to go places and attend concerts we would generally be unable to attend. We have Youtube channels and are interested in attending ALL THINGS MEDIA RELATED like PLAYLIST LIVE VIDCON etc.

Overall we do a lot, enjoy traveling and love to host people coming in to our area. .

Howdy Diane, those are lovely family pics. You and my uncle have the same impression of 90's machines vs new ones.

@lrmorgan, go ahead at Ford Powerstroke section.
