Default New Guy from the panhandle.

Hello DBs! I'm a new guy from northwest Florida. I'm a lifelong GM fan and pretty well versed in the LSx engines and PCMs. Always wanted a diesel, but could never justify the need or expense. Happened upon a 1985 Ford F350 dually, fitted with a non-intercooled 5.9 Cummins, so naturally I bought it. Popping in here to get some tech tips for this early 12V engine, and some bulletproofing/longevity upgrades. Looking forward to getting in the mix, see you around.

Clean Truck and pretty rare to find in that good of shape somebody spent some time and bucks fixing that up. How many miles on it?

20k on the swap per the builder. The truck is about as immaculate as you can get for an '85 work truck that spent its life hauling race cars around.

Also, it's pretty difficult to find plain dually aluminum wheels these days. I'd like some plain 8 holes or a 5 spoke similar to the 99 era Super Duty, but those seem pretty hard to find these days.
