Welcome. I just joined myself. I just picked up a 1986 F250 XLT Lariat and will be posting photos shortly. It's got 22k on the odometer but the previous owner said 112k which is I think is correct. It's from the coast up here in Northern California but the rust is not bad. Anyhow,it's go a lot of potential and runs well. I changed all the fluids today, except coolant and everything was topped off but pretty dirty. Also gear oil in the transfer case instead of ATF.Parts are dirt cheap and this is going to be a worthwhile project and a truck I'll enjoy for some time. I've had lots of Ford F series gassers and loved them all and I'll tell you they all were pretty well used, but with a little help the most reliable solid vehicles I've driven and owned. I'll be posting my progress soon. Also if anyone could tell what the best replacement part brands are and mild performance mods that help mpg it would be most appreciated.
