Default T444E No running lights on the bed

Ok, so I am a newb, please be patient I am a quick study. So I have a 02 T444E rollback. The marker lamps on the bed went out. I have discovered there is no power at the distribution block that is mounted under the bed that supplies all the lights with power. I have tried to track the feed but loose it under the cab. Is there a breaker or fuse for it somewhere? I have searched lobg n hard and have been threatened by the LAW to get them working, I have poured everything into this business, please help!!

welcome to diesel bombers

You may have a fuse in your fuse box that may have blown. Or you could have a broken wire. I would check the wiring from the distribution block and trace it back to the truck.

I had a trick shown to me by an electrical installer for our house , it is adaptable to tracing wires where sensitive equipment is involved, simply make a small power supply that uses worn batteries like a AA or a worn down 9volt that is so weak it puts out under 3-5 volts, the digital volt meter you have can then track this low volt signal, after all vehicle batteries have been disconnected. Measure your test rig and hook it to the circuit you want to trace, say it puts out 3.34 volts now you have to trace the wires and look for that 3.34 volt signal, and it will lead you to the problem area. It works on cars and trucks, as well as house circuits. Make sure all other power sources are disconnected, and follow that reading till you lose it and now you know where to concentrate your energy. Should it disappear when connected and drop out you may have a shorted circuit. move one of your leads to the frame and continue looking, I hope this helps. X Man III
