Back in a Cummins
I had left diesels behind for a year and bought a 2013 Subaru STI. It was fun for awhile, but in all honesty it's a real cheaply built car. So I sold my 12 second Subie and in the process of buying another Cummins truck (#4, 2nd 24V truck).
It's an 01 HO truck. ~10,000 miles on an engine rebuild, 590hp/1460ft lbs of tq if I remember right. Hamilton cam, BD 150 injectors, BD super B special, different valve springs, hot unlock comp box, think it was an AFE stage 2 intake, some other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting on the engine. Has a valair clutch, high pinion Dana 60, compressor and air tank, other fun things. I'll roll with it as is for awhile, but eventually upgrade to compounds because the single is pretty sluggish at the lower rpm. Or have bigger housings put on my HTT 62/13 and use it. Also put 37s instead of 40s on the 17s. Hopefully it's a good rig and I'm not jumping into a problem, but the guy seems honest enough. Anyone happen to know the owner? Seems like he'd be a member of a forum like this.
