Default hey guys I'm new on here and wondered if anyone could help me out

I have a 2000 dodge and the motor needs a lot of work and a budy of mine said instead of spending a lot of money fixing it I should put a 12 valve in it cause I can get more power out of it and for less money is this a swap I should do or should I just fix the 24 valve that's in it? Its not a 53 block.

That question is one you must answer. How much money for the 24 valve fix? How much for a 12 valve?
Who is going to do the work?

The 24 v needs a turbo, injector pump, injectors, and the timing cover resealed. The 12 v is in a truck and its 5 grand. Me and a busy that owns a shop.

The parts you say you need are less money and less work seems like a simple decision to me, I'd fix the 24 valve

It is way more of a pain to put a 12v into a 24v, you could always just p pump the 24v and have the best of both worlds.
