Default Glad to be here

Hi all,
Just wanted to say introduce myself and my 2002 7.3 Excursion. I am a registered nurse in Beaumont, Texas married to a registered nurse with 5 kids and one on the way. That pretty much sums up the purchase of the Excursion. Now for the Excursion, he is a 2002 all stock and garage kept, one owner who used it to visit children and grandchildren out of state throughout the year. Meticulously kept with all the records to prove. I will post pics soon. The interior/exterior is nearly mint and he runs the same. I have been looking for this model and engine for 2 years and started to get discouraged and then one day while driving through the neighboring town I passed this beauty accidentally. I actually took a wrong turn and happened to see this Excursion sitting there along the road for sale. Needless to say I jumped out ran over and about fell out when I saw how well kept it was. Called the owner and he came out and started it up "cold start" flawlessly and it purred and very little to no smoke. I told him I wanted it and as I turned to look for a bank it just so happened my bank was right across the street. Gave him a deposit to hold and allow me to have a mech check it out. Now the part I haven't mentioned is the mileage........ he has 406,000 all original engine and tranny. I choked and kinda started to run but realized hey its a 7.3 psd that is equivalent to mid 30's plenty of life left if it was taken care of, which it appeared to be. Long story short have had it for a few months driving it daily to see if I can identify any issues and nope not a one. Enjoying the room, power and looks we get pulling up in our new looking used Excursion. Any advice is appreciated. Been years (1999) since I have owned a 7.3 and could use some updating and education. Thanks in advance.
