Hi All,

My name is Bill. I'm a first time diesel owner and teacher near Santa Cruz, CA. I bought a 1 ton 91 Dodge Ram from my brother who said he "wanted to keep it in the family." It had bad tires, bad brakes, poor steering, no exhaust pipe, was visually pretty rough, and cost more than I usually spend on an old truck, but because my brother usually give me good advise I bought it. Wow! I've never had such a great truck. I can't believe how it pulls a heavy load up a hill. My daughter wasn't too happy about holding my tea when she was a passenger though on account the truck is pretty bouncy.

I'm not very smart, mechanically speaking, so I hope there are people out there willing to help me out now an then.
