Hello everyone,
My name is Cody and I have an 04 F250 with a 6.0
I've been around Diesel engines a long time and have worked on many over the years because of my job. (engine machinist) Mostly Duramax, Powerstroke, 466 IH & JD, and some CAT.
I've joined this forum for insight on things to to and not to do with my 6.0 and to get more involved in the Performance Diesel side of the market to gage starting my own shop.
I currently work at Joe Mondello Racing Engines in Crossville, TN and all my diesel head work here is for pulling tractor classes (smoker). I'll be starting other threads in the future to see how much interest there is in CNC ported heads for the 6.6 Duramax, 6.0 & 7.3 Powerstroke, and both 12 and 24 valve Cummins. These heads will be available in stages from street up to all out race/pulling.
I'm also currently working on a development program for performance valve seat cutters for these heads to maximize their potential. Should be well underway and completed in time for show casing at PRI in December.
Here pics of some of the work I've done so you know what to expect.
IH 466 Full ported and polished, combustion chambers, Custom Valves, PAC springs and Ti Retainers, head filled solid.
CAT 3208 -milled off intake plenum and modified for individual runner intake
