new guy saying hi
Well I'm looking into buying a new used truck with a 5.9L and joined the site to learn what years have what problems to look out for. I'm looking at 4x4 dodges with a automatic so my wife can drive it. I'm looking to just do a couple mild mods for towing a 20ish ft camper trailer and maybe a flat bed to hual my Toyota off road truck. So I'm looking to learn some things and buy a truck I will not regret owning and constantly working on. Thanks zach

I have noticed that. A clean old dodge is pretty rare these days. I have seen that every truck has a issue to deal with like kdp, and not beat to death 12 valves , 53 block and up grade fuel lift pump on the 24 valves, and the 2003 and up I have been reading a #4 injector line and depending on the year the air coolers have plastic ends and they are just an expensive truck to buy with lower miles. All the years I read about have an auto tranny issue unless its rebuilt with upgraded parts.
