Default Getting started in IN.

Well I recently sold my '09 GMC and test drove an '03 Duramax and now I'm hooked. So begins the hunt for my first diesel truck! I'm looking in the '03-'06 ranges for a ccsb with leather. I've read about some of the issues the LB7's have with injectors and am continuing to research them all as I shop. I'm a TIG welder by trade and have always been into building my own drag cars and hot rods, therefor I won't mind getting my hands dirty if needed.

I have my brother to thank for getting my head wrapped around diesels as I'm currently helping him do a 12v cummins swap into an '85 GMC 3500 3+3 long bed with an NV4500.

My other project is a 1936 Chevy truck that is on a tube chassis with a 9" ford rear end baged and 4 linked and a suicide '35 ford I beam out front. Hoping to finish the chassis and get the cab chopped this spring!

In the mean time I'm on the lookout for my Duramax!
