Default Cummings Conversion

Hey guys. let me give you a little back history here i picked up a 2004 ford f 350 4 door long bed 6 seed standard for cheap i know why because it has the v10 gas hog in it but im thinking i was miss informed on the zf transmission being the same one that came behind the 6.0 powerstroke in that year. does any one know if they are the same and if not can you change a bell housing or front case so one to match the bell housing? my deal is i need to get some info or look at options because i'm planting a 5.9 in front of it and i need to know if i need to junk the tranny and start from square one or if there is a clutch assembly that will work with an adapter plate or something.

Any info is appreciated!

Thanks!
