Sad My baby
I started my diesel odysey with my baby. I got a brand new 1998 quad cab with 24v cummins 4x4 SLT 5 spd. Best truck I have ever owned. 2 years ago I replaced the injector and lift pumps and installed a stage three ceramic clutch from Phoenix Friction. The truck only has 275,000 km (approx. 160,000 miles) Approx. 750 miles later my front driveshaft let go. My transfer case exploded taking the tail shaft off my 5spd. I have looked now for2 years for replacements for the transfercase transmission and shaft. Became cheaper to just get new truck. Now I look at my baby and get depressed. Still runs as new but just sits there. I will either sell it for parts or someday find a project. Considered putting it in a farm tractor but can't decide.
