Hello from Hawaii Diesel bruddah!

I am from Pahoa, HI, and want to get a Jeep and convert it to diesel, preferably bio-diesel at this point!

Howdy! Got a station there that sells bioDiesel, or are you going to make your own? If you use an older-style engine, you can run it on Waste Veg Oil (a.k.a. "WVO"), which is just outta the fryer, thru a few filter-bags, and into the fuel tank.

If you use a more modern (read: computer-controlled and finicky) engine, WVO might not be a great option.

Either way, there's a forum here that's got "conversions" right in the title, and you can find out all kinds of stuff about build strategies, and another forum for "alternative fuels", where those other kinds of details get lots of coverage.
