Finally registered!
Hey everybody! I frequently cruise this site for information and idea's that I put into my own rigs on a constant basis. I am getting ready to do a huge upgrade list so I thought I would get opinions and document my build.
I am a Cummins guy, always have been. I worked for Ford for 3 years as a mechanic. I know the powerstrokes and all their problems at least through the 6.4l anyways. Needless to say I will never own one.
I have always owned a Cummins. I recently sold my '08 mega-cab (wastegated, head studs, mini-maxx, 5" TBE, the usual deletes) and paid cash for an '01 QCSB Ram 2500 with the NV5600 and 116k. It already had dipricol gauges and a edge comp in it. I have been doing basic repair stuff (axle joints, parking brake cables, rear wheel seals, etc.)
Now I am getting ready to upgrade the turbo, intercooler, exhaust, clutch, injectors, the usual big ticket items.
Anyways hope to meet you all, give and get some good input on all things diesel!
