New to turbo Diesel power from Indiana.
Hey guys,
I have plenty of experience with turbo power, but all in the Gasoline world. Galant VR-4, Subaru WRX, 3000GT VR-4, EVO VIII, EVO X, Lancer Ralliart, and last (but not least) 1984 Dodge Conquest.
I'm not a rich boy with dozens of toys, most of those cars were when my wife was working and we had almost double my current income... all that disposable money went into a modest house and not so modest transportation
I have been frustrated many times wanting to go pick up an engine, or a body shell of a car and not owning something to haul and engine in, or a trailer behind, so I went ahead and purchased a used 2006 131,000 mile F-350 XLT Crew Cab Long Bed 4X4. I don't know much about it yet (I was researching older trucks, but this one squeaked into my price range).
I live in a state without emissions testing, so my next posts will be in the tech forums asking what EGR delete is the best for the money, and if I need to replace the oil cooler as well, or is that only if it shows problems (after all, I did research on the 03/04 6.0 Powerstroke).
Later,
Keith
