New Member and the Warranty is GONE!!
Time to make changes! Thought I'd introduce myself as I will be asking a lot of questions! Warranty just ended on my 2006 6.0 PSD. Current mods are in my signature. I'm looking for longivety out of this truck, so next I am leaning towards and EGR delete. Been reading up about it and still have a lot to learn before I do it, but it seems like the next logical step!
Thanks for having me!
Thanks for having me!
First i've heard of this. I'm an EGR dummy, the diesels I worked on in the CG had ZERO emmisions. All this EGR stuff is new science to me. Please explain!---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I believe any Ford dealer carries it. Also, Caterpillar CAT- ELC will work, as well as Fleetrite Coolant. An International Harvester dealer will also have it, if theres on in your area. Other than that, Im drawing a blank....sorry.
do you have an edge insight or sccanguage? I only ask because if your oil cooler isnt plugged I wouldnt chemical flush it unless you plan on replacing the oil cooler when you do the egr delete. There is always a possibility you will clog the oil cooler if you do the restore, restore plus flush

Cant find Delo ELC-1 Coolant or Restore anywhere in my area. Are there any substitutes? I want to do a complete flush this weekend.
