Ok makes sense. So maybe I am overthinking this since reading all the egr and coolant stuff. Towing the camper to hunt camp in Georgia in 10 days and wanted to at least get the coolant filter installed. With 118k on the ford coolant maybe I will just do a non chemical flush, filter kit and refil with gold. Then when I get the egr delete do it and the oil cooler and switch to ELC coolant. I havent had any issues but also dont want any with the upcoming trip. What say everyone?

Thanks. Gunna throw the filter kit on and carry a couple extra filters just to see how much crap it picks up. Once I get back it's EGR delete time. So what I have come up with so far is that I should replace the oil cooler at the same time as the EGR delete and get a programmer that will get rid of the trouble code/CE light right? Also, read some EGR deletes don't require complete removal of intake manifold. Any kits anyone would recommend? Was looking at this one from where I bought the Coolant Filter kit.
