Default Bobcat 773 Makin' Oil

We have a Bobcat 773 skid loader that is making oil and losin' hydraulic oil. I notcied the hydraulic oil level was low so i filled it up then checked decided to check the engine oil and the oil covered 90% of the dipstick. SO i thought that the hydraulic oil was leaking into the engine and getting mixed in with the oil. I called the mechanic at the Bobcat dealer and he said there was no way that, that could be happening. The machine needed some other things done to it so I took it up to the dealer and he replaced some seals. Has anyone out there had this or a similar problem?

I know on some equipment (bellhousing driven pumps) if you loose the nose seal in a pump it will make trans./ torque fluid, can't remember how the pump setup is on the Bobkitty's.

but if its a gear driven pump and splined in to the engine it wont get into it like that, it would just dump the oil out if the seals are blown..thats kind of weird. i dnt see how the hyd oil is gettin in2 the engine oil unless it could be passin through the cooler somehow. but then again, they are not connected anywhere. not to my knowledge..i know all the Case and CAT equipment that i have worked on aint like that.

thats where i would check first...cause those pumps are or at least should be splined like they are on most equipment.

The bobcat mechanic said he replaced some bad seals so we'll see if it fixes it.

That machine drives the pump with a belt, no way for oil transfer. It almost sounds like an injection problem and you might be getting diesel in the motor oil. I've been on these machines all my working life and can't see getting hydraulic in the motor. Those kubotas are almost bullet proof motors, smell the motor oil and see how thin it is.
