Hello everyone. i am new here and new to the diesel motors. i currently have a few gas projects however my newest and most important project is installing a 12 valve in my 83 GMC dually. i am at the point where the motor is mounted and trans is bolted up i am a bit lost on the connection of the trans. any advice would be apperciated.
It is a automatic 3 speed with OD

 

have you considered using a dodge 727??
